Frequently Asked Questions
Is Emmi-Pet safe for dogs?
Yes. Emmi-Pet uses ultrasonic technology without vibration or scraping, making it a gentle option for supporting oral hygiene. Your dog will be assessed before treatment.
Does this replace a veterinary dental procedure?
No. Emmi-Pet supports oral hygiene but does not replace professional veterinary dental treatment where required. If signs of infection, loose teeth, or advanced gum disease are present, we will advise referral to your vet.
How many sessions will my dog need?
This depends on plaque build-up and overall oral health. Some dogs benefit from a short course of 3–6 sessions, followed by regular maintenance.
Is it suitable for nervous dogs?
Most dogs tolerate Emmi-Pet very well due to the silent and non-invasive nature of the treatment. We always introduce the process gradually in a calm environment.
How long does a session take?
Typically 20–40 minutes depending on size, cooperation, and plaque levels.
Will tartar be removed in one session?
Results vary. Mild plaque may improve quickly, while heavier build-up may require multiple sessions. We will discuss expectations during your consultation.
